Ubisoft denied the information that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will have a paid subscription

Ubisoft said that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will not have functions of microtransactions, such as a subscription or update model for blocking advertising, but that it will contain cosmetic sets for buying. Since the release date of Assassin’s Creed Mirage is on the mountains, Stlas-game continues to appear in regional ratings, and Ubisoft drew attention to microtransactions in the full version of Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

After confusion around the Assassin’s Creed Mirage rating in Germany, many thought that the game would have an extensive set of microtransactions, the representative of Ubisoft told what to expect from the full version of the game. This is the second time when the description of the rating was confused after the Assassin’s Creed Mirage “Real Gambling”.

We wanted to make some explanations in connection with the Assassin’s Creed Mirage rating in Germanyand, ”says Ubiwaldo from Ubisoft.

“The game does not include any special subscription model and does not contain any form of advertising, except for traditional intra-game news offering information about AC Mirage and AC franchise,” said Ubisoft representative in Discord. “Some additional cosmetic sets can be purchased directly in our own stores when launch, but we will share them in the coming weeks”

At least, we know that the characters cosmetics will be in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, but the translation of the German rating, which mentions subscriptions and updates, which, apparently, turn off the advertisement, it seems, was incorrectly interpreted.

After independent viewing and translating the rating, it becomes clear that in fact, Mirage does not say that it will include a subscription and update model for blocking advertising, but instead these are types of intra -game purchases that can generally appear in video games.

“Intra -game purchases: the game has the opportunity to purchase additional content directly,” the rating in German said. “Often these are small additional items that provide a greater variety during the game, such as“ bonus levels ”,“ skins ”(outfits for game characters), virtual coins and other forms of intra -game currency, subscriptions and improvements (for example, to disable advertising)”.

The lines “often” and “such as” indicate that the German rating simply describes the types of microtransazations that can be in video games, and not those that will be specifically in Mirage. So, after some confusion, Ubisoft confirmed that the mentioned subscription models and advertising blockers in the game will not be present in Mirage at all.
