The first part was praised for visual details, incredible use of sound and, most importantly, for an impressive scenario and the development of characters. Since the game was talking about mental health, in particular about psychosis, developers from the Ninja Theory studio made every effort to present this terrible state of the heroine as reliable as possible. As a result, they got a truly unique game that remains in memory for a long time after the final credits.

It is worth recalling that this part at one time was an exclusive for the PlayStation 4 console and remained for eight months. Many players already called the game one of the most daring exclusives of Sony and prophesied the merger of the company with Ninja Theory, but everything turned out differently. Hellblade developers are now part of the Xbox Game Studios, and this is the most valuable asset of Microsoft, journalists say. According to Xbox, the same PS4 fans who boasted of Hellblade exclusivity will now watch how his sequel becomes a game that collects numerous awards. However, the main mystery for the sequel is the release date, which after three years since the announcement has not yet been determined.

Exit Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 in 2024 was first confirmed in June 2023, and in six months the developers did not specify the release window. Such silence can only say that the developers are not yet sure at the end of their project. According to journalists, at best, the sequel will be released at the end of next year, in the worst case we will be waiting for another transfer of the release date already for 2025.
